QC Technician
Primary job function is to support and assist the Quality Assurance Manager to obtain department goals and responsibilities. Ability to work independently on routine work, minimal direction required on new assignments. Tasks may require operation of various types of production equipment such as light microscopes, Sonoscan and application systems. Supports all applicable regulations including but not limited to industry standards, customer specific and ISO requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with Quality Assurance Manager to continuously improve company’s quality focus including incoming raw materials, production assembly procedures and outgoing product shipments.
Performs incoming inspection of raw materials from testing through release.
Assist with identification and quarantine of any raw materials failing to meet specifications.
Ability to interpret product drawing specifications.
Operating and maintenance of the C-SAM Sonoscan.
Ability to prepare, verify and approve devices for shipment including final data preparation.
Understand, comply and support industry, customer and ISO regulatory requirements.
Understand, comply, and support Integra Technologies policies and procedures.
Assist QA Manager to process customer RMAs.
Assist with equipment calibration.
Qualifications and Requirements
Requires high school diploma with minimum of 1 year of industry experience, or BA/BS degree in a related field.
Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and basic SPC concepts.
ISO 9001 standard experience preferred. IPC-A-610 CIS Certification preferred.
Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
Ability to understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
Basic mathematic skills.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent residency required.
Pay Range
The starting rate of pay is $17.00 per hour.
